Founder profile
OUR STORY
The founder is a 35-year-old former professional footballer who played professionally in both the Czech Republic and Australia, bringing first-hand experience of elite athletic training environments, performance culture and the standards required of a serious training facility.
Academic background includes a Bachelor of Sport Science from Masaryk University (Brno, Czech Republic) and a Diploma in Sports Management, alongside a certified Fitness Coach qualification — providing both the sport-science grounding and the operational management training relevant to running a performance facility.
The founder owns and operates HQ Fitness Rental (Perth, Australia), a five-year-old business renting fitness equipment to private individuals, gyms and physiotherapy clinics. The business was established during COVID-19 to supply hotel quarantine facilities with home fitness equipment, demonstrating an ability to identify and execute on a market opportunity under pressure.
The founder also owns Z Fitness, an outdoor personal training business, and has developed and brought to market a branded product — the Z Fitness Speed Band — which has been supplied to gyms and sports clubs and was showcased at the Melbourne Fitness Expo.
Combined, this background provides direct experience across equipment sourcing and logistics, B2B relationships with gyms and clinics, personal training operations, product development and branding, and direct exposure to elite athletic training standards — all of which map closely onto the operational requirements of Zedco Fitness.

OUR VISION
- Zedco Fitness is a 24/7 warehouse performance gym: large open-plan training space, dedicated Olympic lifting platforms and a tier-based recovery zone, available around the clock with no long-term contract.
- The long-term vision is a small network of these facilities across Prague and, subject to Site 1 success, other Central European cities — each replicating the same layout, pricing and automation systems.
